Your base should provide enough support for the surface above. Larger or heavier tabletops, such as solid wood or stone, require sturdier metal bases or reinforced pedestal designs to prevent movement or tipping.

How heavy are the bases, and will they keep the table stable?

Our table bases are designed with sand-filled construction, adding substantial weight that keeps your table balanced, even under heavier surfaces. Do the bases come pre-assembled?

Yes, all of our bases will arrive fully assembled and will also be ballasted before delivery if necessary. 

At the point of delivery, your table will be positioned, fully assembled and correctly levelled on site by our installation team, before a final customer inspection.
